Brembo's on a Budget As luck would have it though the F30 335i in its base trim i.e. not with the Blue M Sport upgraded brakes, comes with a set of 4 piston front calipers designed to run a larger 340mm rotor, they still have a single piston rear caliper. Now this set of calipers is often ignored as its grey and unpainted, but its effectively the same front caliper that you get in the upgraded M Sport braking system just without the blue paint and M badge.

I'm a huge fan of good handling, limited body roll and of course the looks that come with a lowered car. As such the first modification on the list for our Project 328i was suspension related. Given this list of choices I delved into the catalogue from our friends at Vogtland Autosports and found a perfect solution - some F30 Ride height adjustable coilovers with a ride height range of 40 - 60mm in drop.

Perfect fit came fast
I have a 2013 MY14 335i N55 F30. First mod was to BM3 Stage 1. Awesome. A charge pipe was not essential but advisable. My OEM CP lasted 1 month. Wasn’t a big drama when it burst. Limped home fine. Flashtuned had the right CP. Pre-booked a local BMW familiar mechanic and expressed the part. Instal was only $132. Why do it yourself? I’m a very happy customer and advise for peace of mind get a CP from Andy up front.
Recently bought an E82 135i N55 which had started to be tuned by a previous owner. As a bit of preventative maintenance and to get the most out of the larger turbo on this machine, I purchased this charge pipe. It is well priced, well made and reasonably easy to install.
As it is, discovered that the stock charge pipe was missing its O-ring and I had been getting a leak at higher boost. Once installed the new charge pipe and took it for a run, I noticed a decent leap in pulling power! Been worthwhile and now feel much happier that I have a solid charge pipe instead of the flimsy stock plastic one.
Overall very happy with it with great service from the team and quick delivery. Highly recommend

The Bootmod3 flash tool has transformed my BMW N55 F30 335i sedan. I followed Andy’s advice. Sorted a battery charger, OBD2 cable and ethernet adaptor for my Macair. Once I had my head around the Bootmod3 Agent and connecting to BM3 it was a breeze. It’s actually super simple. The whole BM3 interface and package is professional and user friendly… and guess what… it works! The Stage 1 was a simple flash and gee wizz did it transform the stock 335i. I then tweaked the exhaust. The BM3 tools gave the stock exhaust a lot more character. Sorted the 8 speed auto flash to speed up shifts and tighten clutches up a touch. OMG. Seriously if you have a 335i it’s a no brainer. I’m 60 and enjoying my bimmer more than ever. Thanks Andy.
